Robots, Dynamic Movements & Interaction

I am interested in understanding how robots dynamically move through their environment by interacting with feet and hands. To this end, I formulate system dynamics and contact laws as mathematical optimization problems and solve them to generate motion plans.

Together with my colleagues at the Robotic Systems Lab, we are developing advanced algorithms for legged locomotion in complex environments. Watch our quaduped ANYmal perform some cool moves!
